You could, oh I don't know, run One Man Army for something other than infinite tubes I suppose.

If you're really against using OMA, just sit on some semtex (or have a staring contest with your own claymore, etc.). This is immensely useful when you're playing with randoms and the other team gets air support. A handful of extra suicides will hardly impact your all important KDR, plus you'll actually be helping your team.

I personally love OMA. My "Full Stealth" class has it, cold blooded and ninja with a silenced AK. When I'm low on ammo or need to put some explosives downrange, the "BSG Rush" class comes out. When the path is clear, it's back to either "Full Stealth" or my "Assault Rifle" class (only one with stopping power) so I can push into their spawn.

"Full Stealth" helps immensely when taking the B point in domination on almost any map. I run smoke grenades and C4. First smoke to cover approach, second for cap duration, and then C4/smoke after to trap it up.


TL;DR
Make lots of very specialized classes and incorporate One Man Army into as many as possible.
Suicide if you desperately need a class change (eg. to switch to anti-air when playing with clueless randoms).

thats why you make all your classes diffent in case that happens

Play style and Create a Class are two different things. 1 augments the other, yes, but they are not one in the same.

You could, and you make a very good arguement for it.

Nonetheless, it runs against my playstyle, and add to the fact that I'm really not good enough of  a player to create strategies beyond teamwork coordination or tossing smoke to cover an objective.

I can imagine it running against many others too, I mean I don't see OMA very often either. Perhaps that has changed since I last played? Or is it one of those "the really good people tend to use it, but most people don't see the point" sorta deals?

i cant stand OMA there ar better things i can put in that perk spot like scavanger. im always running around and as long as there are stupid people trying to kill me ill always have ammo

One man army is a massive tactical headache depending on who your facing. I've seen people one man army smoke grenades on Sub base so they could run around the other parts.

I base my play style on the type of game and the map I am playing on. If I am playing HCTDM I will try to try to hold a small area (Camper) unless its a smaller map then I just run around looking for people to kill or that can shoot me in my face! In core games I tend to do a hybrid. Then again that depends on if you are playing with random people or a team of people you know. If you are playing with random people you know there will be those 2 or 3 guys on your team that keep running into the same building the same way and getting shot over and over feeding some lucky guy his harrier and chopper gunner. My style in that game is to stay as far away from those guys as possible.

About OMA it has its uses. I always use it in HC when I have it. Just keep putting claymores up because they are so deadly in that game.  I find scavenger is a lot easier in core games. Just my opinion, which really who cares because I suck!

I fucking wish. If an opposing team is all using one-army tubes, it is EXTREMELY difficult to win an objective game if they have an IQ of at least 100. As Hardboiled said, the way IW allowed OMA to replenish explosives is broken and unbalanced.

Thats not true.

If they all just use the noob tube, then it doesn't matter because they can stay in one postion and hold it. The only way to get points would be to come into their crossfire.

You can't really fight against that. I've seen it happen multiple times, and everytime I lose, bad. By like 6000 points bad.

What Roadkill meant is you can't do it if they are SMART. The people in your story do not have an IQ over 100 (which, if you don't know, is low).
Also, you were in Team Deathmatch. Try having everyone on an SnD team, a Headquarters team, or a Domination team who just sit back and tube with OMA.
This is what Roadkill was talking about.
Also, some maps are better for tubing than others. Like Scrapyard. That POS map is a pain in the ass with danger close tubes flying everywhere!
